Get Back To Love
Often we get so consumed in everyday life that we forget the most important task of all — to love and be loved. Love is the answer to your problems.

- If you want a successful business — fall in love with your profession.
- If you want a successful marriage – fall in love with your spouse.
- If you want more customers/friends/partners – love your neighbor has yourself.
QUESTIONS
- How do you treat yourself?
- How do you treat other people?
- What would you change about yourself?
- How would you reach out others (co-workers, friends, family, customers, your boss, etc)?
“Love means giving up– yielding my preferences, comfort, goals, security, money, energy, or time for the benefit of someone else. ” Rick Warren The Purpose Driven Life.
Do you remember what it felt like the last time you were in love? Every single moment of the day your thoughts were consumed with that person/project/thing. Your entire being wanted to explore, nurture, protect and engage in the concept of that person/project/thing. Be that person again. Incorporate love in everything you do.
Spend today getting back to loving yourself and the people around you. Work is important, but relationship is the only thing that matters. Reach out and love today.

Get More From Your Blog (7 Tips)
People float in and out of blogs like ghosts whispering through the night . You want people to stick around and find out what you are about, comment on your page and give feedback on your content. I have some good news and bad news.

“Jakob Nielsen’s latest study finds that 90% of online community users are lurkers (read or observe without contributing) with only 9% of users contributing ‘a little’ and 1% actively contributing.
So 1% of your blog’s users are actively engaging with your blog and the rest are at best occasional contributers,”according to Pro Blogger. That means if you have 100 views, only about one or two people will actually respond to your post.
The good news is, people like you (…hint they are visiting and reading your blog) and they want a reason to keep coming back, participate and “buy-in” to the power of you. Here are seven ideas you can use to engage your blog readers.
1. Create Content Your Readers Can Connect With.
The most dis-hearting thing a writer can do is disconnect with their audience. Many times, bloggers get the wrong idea that many people JUST want to read about “your day and the things you have experienced.” This assumption is partly true. Readers want you to be real/human. They are also looking for a RESOURCE they can use to further their own purposes. It sounds selfish, but you have to remember that you are using your knowledge to help others to achieve their dreams and/or goals — or provide answers to their questions. Find content you can relate to and write it as a resource for your readers.
2. Create “Quick Read” Content
The average American scans articles, books, blogs etc…for information they can use and discard the rest. Despite popular belief, many readers don’t have time to sit down and read a 500 word blog. We live in a fast-paced society and people want quick information. Readers want you to just K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Sam). Be brief. Use quotes, quick lists, sayings, short stories, brief motivations, etc.
3. Be Authentic
Find out what everyone else is doing and do the opposite. People are looking for you to be authentic. If you are copying after everyone else –the effort will just show you are being lazy, non-productive and unoriginal. Strive to learn more and be more personable — it will show through your writing efforts. Everyone loves a story that has never been written or written in a different viewpoint. Be that person!
4. Blog Everyday
If you have a “following”, believe that they are tunning into your blog every chance they get. If you are seen as a blog guru on a specific subject, then your traffic will increase — as will your demand for new and fresh articles. Therefore it is important for you to provide daily content.
5. Connect with Blog Guru’s (Get Advice)
There is nothing worse than swimming out in the Internet world without a safety net — you WILL drown. Search for guru’s that will educate you and inspire you to be a better writer. Also, this type of connection will help you gauge the effectiveness of your blog and what changes you should make –if any.
6. Create a FREE Course
If you want readers to connect with you– they must have something they can connect with. Create a time released course/or report and email it to your blog audience. People are looking for all forms of information, but they don’t want to waste time searching all over the universe for it. Creating a mini-course/report leads to a deeper level of commitment from your blog audience.
7. Create a Resource List
“Tell my people to connect with your people.” Social media is all about community networking. If you are connecting with outstanding bloggers and guru’s — create a resource list your readers can bookmark. There are so many great resources that you may access daily. Please share the wealth (of information.) Smile.
These ideas will jump start you on a road to becoming a better blogger. Remember, we want to read your blog. Be Motivated. Be Honest. Be Open. Be Powerful. Be Real. Give your readers information they can use. If you have other innovative ideas on ways you can get more from your blog, please feel free to add to the list.
