Focused

When your mind is cloudy –just focus and things will become clear.

This week has been very eye opening for me. Complacent about my direction, I laid down and thought about all of the wonderful things I wanted to do and how I would accomplish them. I came to a point where I had to focus on my central goal and understand what it is that I really wanted to accomplish. In those moments,  I  faced reality and realized that it was time to make a choice and move on it no matter what happens.

When you are not anchored — your boat will float in any direction. However, when you know what you want and you know how to get there — anything is impossible to achieve. Question. How do you eat an elephant? One piece at a time! Trying to surpass the small beginnings to achieve something bigger — will only trip you up and start you back at ground zero. Slow and steady finishes the race.

  1. “When you are not anchored — your boat will float in any direction.”

This is a great reflection Sherita, many times we are afraid to pull out the anchor and then again we get tired of being in the same place.

  2. Clary you are correct. When we venture out and find out innovative ways to reinvent ourselves to be better — sometimes are ship will float off a bit. The secret is in learning how to stay afloat admist the changing tides. Thanks for your feedback.
